The 2018 AAI Gala will mark the 65th Anniversary of AAI. As part of its mission to promote enlightened engagement between Africa and America, AAI celebrated honorees including distinguished alumni H.E. Professor Hassana Alidou, Ambassador to the U.S. and Canada, Embassy of the Republic of Niger and Dr. Austin Demby, MD, Deputy Director of the Office of Global Health, HRSA. The Republic of South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa led a delegation that includes Minister of Energy, Jeff Radebe and fellow senior officials as part of the UN General Assembly program.
