As the Chief of Strategic Partnerships & Engagement at The Africa-America Institute (AAI), Jourden Warren develops and manages partnerships and programmatic opportunities aligned with AAI's mission and strategic goals.

In her current role, Jourden oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including project management, communications, relationship management, corporate and foundation fundraising, and event production. She has successfully designed and executed numerous high-profile events, such as AAI's African Diplomatic Orientation & Engagement Program, Annual Awards Gala, and the Annual State of Education in Africa Conference.

Before joining AAI, Jourden worked as a Strategic Communications Consultant for Kai Kai Communications in New York, providing communications strategy and political and commercial services to international and domestic clients. Her diverse experience also includes work as an Independent Production Assistant in New Zealand, coordinating large-scale commercial productions for major international brands.

Jourden's educational background includes a Master of International Studies with Distinction from the University of Otago in New Zealand, where she focused on international trade policies across Sub-Saharan Africa. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the same institution. 

Active in community engagement, Jourden currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors at Small Savers Montessori Child Development Center in Washington, D.C. She has also played a key role in establishing The Foundation for Gender Equality.
